Founded in 1953, Beaumaris Theatre is a community theatre company based in Melbourne’s Bayside area. We aim to enrich the local community and provide entertainment and creative opportunities for all ages.
We invite people of all ages and backgrounds to join our theatre family. Whether you have many years of experience in the theatre or looking to get involved in your first production we would love to hear from you!

It was easy to see Debbie’s supportive hand in the entire production, her attention to detail, and how each character clearly knew their role and how it melded to make the whole.
The show is very well cast and is another directed by the lovely Debbie Keyt with her team Rhonda Vaughan (Musical Director) and Camilla Klesman (Choreographer). This is my third review for Beaumaris Theatre and I also see other shows there; they are all fabulous.
Live theatre is a precious art form. Beaumaris Theatre is a superb and delightfully intimate theatre and the values our founders, Bill and Angela Martin established 71 years ago are still honoured today. There isn’t just one thing that makes our unique theatre special, it’s a million intangible qualities and the mix of vibrant, ebullient, imaginative, clever and creative personalities that make Beaumaris Theatre all that it is and our collective desire to bring stories to the stage for thespians to enjoy: “Theatre for all”.
Delving into the music of Tim Finn is a dream pursuit for any aficionado of eighties tunes, so it has been a delight to embrace this new choreographical adventure - once again alongside my dear and talented friends Debbie Keyt and Rhonda Vaughan- to discover the score of Ladies in Black.
