It is such a privilege and an honour to be leading and guiding our devoted and passionate Committee and creative talent as we strive to do what we all love so much and produce live shows that make us laugh, cry, think and immerse ourselves in storytelling and music.

Get to know the all-star cast of A Year with Frog and Toad before you see the show!

I first saw the movie Steel Magnolias in 1989 and I was uplifted and torn apart by the beautiful, heartwarming story, witty and moving script and the special relationships of the friends played exceptionally by Hollywood’s powerhouse of female stars. There was no doubt their friendships transcended off-screen to real life.

It is hard to find the words to fully describe the impact Robyn, Steve and Trevor have had on Beaumaris Theatre and our community. We are so grateful for the passion, leadership, compassion and creativity they have brought to the Committee, expertly guiding the Theatre through challenging times and establishing a strong foundation for the future.

A Year with Frog and Toad has been described as part vaudeville, part make-believe and all charm. While the cast is five adults, this production is a perfect way for the whole family to come on an adventure across the four seasons with Frog, Toad and all their friends.

Fred has been involved in the Theatre scene in Melbourne for over 45 years. He has made it a better place. Not everyone can have that said about them - but Fred can.

Camilla has been involved with Beaumaris for the past twenty years.  During this time she has choreographed seventeen of our productions. She has given her time generously, both whilst serving on the Committee and when we required her support after she stepped down from Committee duties. 

Steve is a man of action and many talents. He can often be found riding his bike, participating in Parkrun, helping behind the scenes at the Theatre with maintenance, set building, working backstage as a crew member or stage manager or appearing on stage. Every December, Steve can be found in a red suit and white beard spreading Christmas joy! 

Since his first role with ACE Theatre in 1995, Stephen has been involved in over 55 productions. Beaumaris Theatre is very grateful for all the contributions Stephen makes and has made over more than 20 years. 

Natalie Carden is making her Beaumaris Theatre Inc. debut in Little Miss Sunshine this September. We asked her to step under the spotlight to get to know her better.
