2023 marks the 30th anniversary of Cancer Council’s Australia’s Biggest Morning Tea which raises vital funds to make a big difference for those impacted by cancer. We are honoured to be celebrating our 15th Annual Biggest & Latest Morning Tea at Beaumaris Theatre.
Our event is truly unique to us and we are delighted each year that our kindred thespians come together through music and friendship to raise funds for this extremely worthy cause in loving memory of our dear and cherished friends Barb Stewart and Lee Pezzimenti.
We are exceedingly proud to announce the total raised at our concert this year is $2830.00 which brings us to a grand total of over $23,000.00 over the past fifteen years. Special thanks to our friends at Duncan Thompson Extensions for their generous donation.
This year’s song choices were sublime from moving ballads to showstoppers along with comedic and rock songs and our heartfelt thanks to our remarkable performers: Amelia Little, Amy Gridley, Bec Bull, Candice Sweetman, Meggyann Davie-Smyth, Liam McWhinney, Josh Aiello, Nick Armstrong, Omar Moustafa and our MC, Michael Young. We were thrilled to welcome our very special guests: Justine Garnes, Alarna Summers, Natasha Rayner, Sally Fyfield and Dylan Smith who are excited to be part of our lineup again next year.
We are extremely grateful to our behind-the-scenes team of Fiona Williams, Adam Solomon, Sam Johnson, Kristina Doucouliagos and our fabulous Beaumaris Theatre Committee who all helped make our event a marvellous success.
Thank you to our adoring audience who supported our event and their applause and praise.
What a glorious evening it was for this extremely worthy cause.
