It is truly captivating and the music and singing is beautiful with amazing voices, heartfelt lyrics and some very comical moments too. You will laugh and you will cry and you will relate to something or someone in almost every scene.

Step inside the doors of the theatre, and it's a different world. Every common area hums with action, collaboration and laughter. This is one of the many rehearsals for the inaugural Beaumaris Theatre Monologue Festival. For three hours, a colourful crew of creatives flit through the building, each bringing to life a unique story.

Here we are in June, halfway through the year. What a delightfully busy six months we’ve had. Throughout the last few months, we’ve had three shows overlapping and Beaumaris Theatre was abuzz with theatrical activity, which is just the way we love it.

Beaumaris Theatre is delighted to announce the all-star cast of The Bridges of Madison County, directed by Colin Armstrong and musically directed by Sue Fletcher.

I am writing this as the cast and production team of Steel Magnolias prepare for their final two performances, rehearsals for our August production of The Bridges of Madison County have kicked off (announced below), and we are also fast approaching our very first Beaumaris Theatre Monologue Festival! 

It’s hard to pick a favourite character, especially if you see it as a woman yourself – you will probably relate to each one of them in some way, or, picture in your mind, a friend you could easily have represented by one of them somewhere within the plot.

We are delighted to announce the directors and actors who will be bringing original work to life in Beaumaris Theatre's inaugural Monologue Festival.

The Monologue Festival will feature a series of powerful performances by local actors, each presenting an original monologue that highlights their skills and creativity. The festival will celebrate the art of solo performance and offer a platform for actors to shine in the spotlight.
